• Romantic Plot Tumor: Often (properly) cited as one of the season's and series' worst occurrences of this trope. Once all the other campers are gone, the focus of the plot shifts from "solve the mystery and find everyone" to "remind the audience that Danny and Sam are attracted to each other." The romantic elements come out of nowhere, literally halfway through the episode (around the 13-minute mark) and don't stop, even though the plot and their romance had nothing to do with one another and vice-versa.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Wulf's return is squandered and he's barely relevant anymore thanks to the above mentioned Romantic Plot Tumor.
