YMMV / Danganronpa School Mode: Storage Room of Love

Go To

  • Funny Moments:
    • Makoto's incredulous reaction to Toko's fantasy and how her idea of him gets rapidly more outlandish as it goes along, starting with him as her next door neighbor and quickly moving on to mentioning that he lives in a mansion, has a bunch of cars and servants, is a musician, a genius, a car racer, a sports star, a master fencer, a fashion model and apparently hides a sweet side under his "gruff" exterior.
Makoto: (internally panicking) There are far too many attributes associated with her ideal partner! Seriously, what kind of character am I? Am I even her neighbor anymore?
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • Some of Makoto's interactions with his classmates in their fantasies qualify, from him proving to be Byakuya's Worthy Opponent, to him comforting Toko, to him preventing Mondo from doing anything he'll regret, etc.
    • Some of the fantasies themselves are really sweet too; Aoi imagines Makoto as her upperclassman who offered to do anything she asked for her birthday; Leon imagines him as his childhood friend who's always there for him; Hifumi imagines him as a character he drew who magically came to life; Mondo imagines him as a friend who steers him in the right direction; and Sakura sees him as her real world boyfriend who is struggling with an illness.
  • Tear Jerker: Sakura's fantasy, which is about her real world lover who is terminally ill. In the epilogue, she even acknowledges that she's not as ashamed by the footage Monokuma showed her as the others are, but is shaken by the fact that it brought back a bit too many memories of her past.
