• Anvilicious: Ellie occasionally inserts her cultural and political opinions as explicit statements in more recent videos, such as the stinger to Eccentric Severe 2mors (a sentence-mixed essay on the ethics of shoplifting).
• Awesome Music:
  • The Les Misérables (2012) dubstep at the end of 24601 Releases A Sammich On Parole.
  • The Jeopardy! Thinking Music mash-ups at the end of the "Jeopardy!'s Tooth" videos, with special mention going to the "We Belong" mash-up in the third one.
  • "Of or Belonging to Arby" mashes up "Bonetrousle" with a sentence-mixed "Photograph" to create a surprisingly amusing song about Arby's.
  • "What Sarah Said" features a bouncy mashup of Rhythmortis and "Close Your Eyes" during the end credits. An eerie spooky dance remix indeed.
  • "Total Dryland" ends with a mashup of the intro of Total Drama Island with that of Gullah Gullah Island, and the result is a legitimate banger. Ditto the mash-up with "Oh No! (What We Gonna Do?)" earlier in the video.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The footage of the girl in “Jon Locke Feeds the Emo Eaters” is random and has nothing to do with the rest of the video. While the title references it, that doesn't mean much when it comes to YouTube Poop.
• Crosses the Line Twice: The Running Gag of the Wow! It's Made workers being abused, beaten, and being put into the products.
• Gateway Series: 24601 Releases A Sammich On Parole introduced many in the Les Mis fandom to the concept of YouTube Poop.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • "In the Wii U version, we're making it so that you can never, ever, ever play Classic Mode!" Cue the actual release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and the Classic Mode there is oft-criticized for being In Name Only. Some fans call it, either affectionately or non-affectionately, "Sick Mode" after Soup Or Smash Bros.
  • The "We're bringing back CLONES!" comment from the same poop has become a LOT funnier now that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate introduced Echo Fighters.
  • There's also the "RIDLEY! ...is just some boss enemy. NOT EVEN SPECIAL!", which is a load of laughs now that he is a playable character.
  • Given how the World of Light mode in Ultimate begins, the line "Those fighting techniques you've been polishing will NOT. EVEN. come in handy!" can sting for a long while into the story depending on who your main fighter is. Bonus points for the Sole Survivor being Kirby, of all people.
  • The LOL King featured Rafiki dropping Baby Simba off of Pride Rock. Come 2016, and Disney produced Hilarious Outtakes for the Blu-ray release of The Lion King (1994) and actually animated Rafiki tripping and dropping the cub.
  • The 2010 YTP YouTube Pop had a "Look at this graph" joke five years before the infamous "Nickelstats" video was uploaded.
  • The prevalence of SuS jokes became amusing in a new way after Among Us made "sus" a meme in its own right.
  • "Of or belonging to Arby" had the line "Arby's: We have alcohol now!" A few months later in November 2021, Arby's announced that they would be creating curly fry flavored vodka, making the line funnier now.
  • In "Pink on One Side", Philosophy Tube doubtfully says "And then I was like, "I am a very cis man". And then I was like, mmm...". PhilosophyTube would come out as trans almost two years after the video's release.
  • "Wonder Bros.", a poop of the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Direct trailer, makes a one-off joke about "Mx. Daisy". When the game was released about a month later, it was revealed that Daisy has a new voice actor, Giselle Fernandez, who is nonbinary.
  • The "beef jerky is now a popular fruit snack" gag in "Wow! I'm Hungry" is even more amusing now that fruit jerky is a thing.
