• Funny Moments:
  • In the trailer for the 2.0 update, the scene that shows the Vs Nonsense collaboration:
    Nonsense: (sighs) Boring. (Beat) Ah, yes—
    (cue Taeyai bursting into Nonsense's house just like Boyfriend did)
    Taeyai: Hello! (randomly dons a sombrero)
    Nonsense: …Again?
  • Speaking of, the DX Version of Nonsense has him don MLG Shades and a Supreme T-Shirt.
  • One cover on Taeyai's YouTube channel is of Smoke 'Em Out Struggle's "Release", which of course features Garcello's Signature Line… except he failed to realize Taeyai is a girl.
    Garcello: Tight bars, little man.
    Taeyai: (goes Blue with Shock) I'm a girl.
    Garcello: Uh… Deez nuts-
    Taeyai: What?
• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Taeyai made several covers of Vs Bob And Bosip songs involving hersel-insert on her YouTube channel (More specifically, "Jump In", "Swing", both versions of "Split" and "Copy Cat"^note With Ash instead of Other Bob). Later on, AmorAltra ended up having allegations of sexual misconduct against him, scrapping the planned crossover between the two in the process.
  • Taeyai's own case of Self-Deprecation can hurt a lot harder considering that most of the mods she worked on got cancelled by various degrees. (Starlight Mayhem & vs. Eteled due to TheMaskedChris leaving the community, Human Hijinks for lack of progress, & this mod for having the team "not considering to finish it").
  Taeyai: I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!
• Moe: Taeyai herself is absolutely adorable, which the update trailer lampshades, calling her the "cute programmer".
• Narm: Taeyai's Villainous Breakdown in the cutscene after "Wear a Mask", while legitimately disheartening, can be pretty hard to take seriously considering her broken English.
• That One Level: "Last Hope". After the cutscene following "Wear a Mask", a fake error message reading "COME AGAIN WHEN YOU'RE READY" is thrown at you before the game closes. Take that at face value, because you have no idea what you're going to be in for when you boot the game back up. While not too long at over three minutes, the many ways that Taeyai can cause Interface Screw (notably with her and Boyfriend's strumlines) could probably make it just as annoying as all the jacks seen in Cosmic Calamity's "Service Unavailable", if not giving it a run for its money. On top of this, you outright can't play any other stage until it's cleared because, regardless of how you exit the game, it still starts up Last Hope.
• Tear Jerker:
  • While her broken English kind of messes up the cutscene, Taeyai's breakdown after "Wear a Mask" can really hit home to those who can't find any success in life.
    Taeyai: I... I lost again, huh? Like always... Yeah, because I'm a loser, and I CAN'T MAKE ANYTHING SUCCESS IN MY LIFE! (sniffs, followed by a laugh) Funny, right? Who in the world can make anything successful? (starts sobbing)
    Boyfriend: (beep)
    Taeyai: You don't understand anything. You just only can say, "Beep, boop"... (getting angry) YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW I FEEL! You just like them — that keep humiliating and bullying me. You are just like my family that keeps looking away from my dream, but NOW... I'M GOING TO END IT NOW!
  • The majority of the "Last Hope" sequence. Just hearing Taeyai shout, "I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!" mid-song really makes you feel for her, and so does the cutscene after you finally defeat her.
    Taeyai: You and I used all my power, but I still can't beat you! How failure am I, right?! (bursts into tears as Boyfriend looks visibly saddened for her) I'm sorry for everything! ...I will send you back to your game. (Boyfriend reaches out to her in concern) Don't worry about me. I will be fine... (sniff)
• Viewer Gender Confusion: For a short while, a lot of people were confused as to what Tae Yai's gender was, because even though it was stated that Tae was female in both her YouTube and Twitter accounts and her Author Avatar in the mod is also female, some people thought she was actually a male and her self-insert in the mod was gender-swapped, while others thought she was transgender. Eventually, Tae cleared all the confusion by revealing that she is indeed a transgender female.
