• Ensemble Dark Horse: Boris Izaguirre became a Hunk hit with viewers, with one viewer in 2003 texting in "Boris you seem more of a sex bomb every time"!
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In the fourth episode of the show on 10 September 1997 Sardà said "It is possible that in 20 years everyone will remember this show."^note Dentro de 20 años es posible que todo el mundo recuerde este programa. They do, either for better^note as a show which revitalised the struggling late night chat show genre in Spain or worse^note as transphobic, ableist and the show which threw trash TV into the mainstream.
• Overshadowed by Controversy: When Crónicas ended, Camp Gay Boris Izaguirre struggled to find work, having been associated with his regular striptease.
• Spiritual Successor: After Crónicas was cancelled, many of its creators eventually moved over to start the phenomenon that is El Hormiguero.
• Too Good to Last: Despite starting to lose ground very slightly to other late-night shows, the cancellation of the show came as a massive surprise, with its final series being its highest in ratings.
