- Sweet Dreams Fuel: A show about cute equines with a premise that Good Feels Good? Sounds like a recipe for sweet dreams!
- Tear Jerker: In "Together... Apart!", the duo have to be in separate classes, and it's really hard on them since they're always together. Practicing being separate proves difficult, and only made them more depressed.
- They Copied It, So It Sucks!: Some people (especially Bronies) have accused the show of ripping off My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic due to the similar art-style, the use of ponies, and the themes of friendship. However, the truth of the matter is that Corn and Peg is really nothing like MLP, largely due to its relative lack of scope and depth and it's from the art of Sunita Balsara (the character designer of the show).
