  • Channel Hop: Beginning with "Buddy Bench"/ "To Taste or not To Taste", new episodes moved to the Nick Jr. channel.
  • Children Voicing Children: The majority of child characters in the series are voiced by kids.
  • Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: Several sources, including FANDOM, The Other Wiki, and This Very Wiki), said that Russell Marcus (creator of Brandy & Mr. Whiskers) co-created the series when he didn't. In fact, he had no idea about the series until a fan asked him about it. This is all the work of one superfan, and because the show isn't well-known, many fell for it.
  • The Cast Showoff:
    • in "Welcome Baby Marissa", the band that Corn, Peg & Clarissa (and lead singer) play in is also an animated version of the real-life band Bathtub Milk in which Ava Close (the voice of Clarissa) sang in real life.
    • Danny Smith, the voice of beatboxer Clyde in the Backsteed Boys, also sang in a real-life pop-punk band called The City Drive.
  • Early-Bird Release: A sneak peek of the series was aired on February 22, while the actual show premiered on March 4.
  • He Also Did:
    • Rick Gitelson, story editor, writer, and producer of the show also wrote episodes of Recess. He is also the creator of 4 children's TV shows. He left Corn & Peg after season 1.
    • Jason Hopley, the story editor of the show also created the Nickelodeon comedy Mr. Meaty.
    • Paloma Nunez (the voice of Carrier Pintock) and Jackson Reid (the voice of Ferdy) would later work together again in the blockbuster film SHAZAM!, which was released a month after the show.
    • Doug Murray, Leo Orgil and the show's leading stars Jaiden Cannatelli (Corn) & Shechinah Mpumlwana (Peg) will later work together on Blue's Clues & You!, the reboot of one of the most beloved and groundbreaking preschool shows of all time.
    • Most of the Nelvana employees who work on the show also did shows like Pelswick, Committed, Clone High, 6teen, Flying Rhino Junior High, and the rest of Nelvana's entire animated library.
  • In Memoriam: While never shown in the show, the show's Wikipedia page states that the episodes "Backsteed Boys" and "Trotterball" were dedicated to Skye Wiene (one of the storyboard artists at OddBot who worked on the show), who died in a traffic collison on December 9, 2019, five days before this episode aired.
  • International Coproduction: Canadian company Nelvana and its parent company Corus Entertainment distributed the show with Nickelodeon.
  • Out of Holiday Episode: "Trick or Squeak", "Hoofsgiving" and "Happy Hoofmas" all premiered on July 9, August 5, and August 6 in 2020, respectively. This is most likely due to the show being Screwed by the Network. However, "Trick or Squeak" did air on October 9, 2020, as the show's last rerun.
  • Screwed by the Network: Even though the show hasn't been officially announced to be cancelled, the show never had any reruns of most season 2 episodes, and no episodes have aired since October of 2020. Also, Viacom churned these episodes out very quickly, resulting in the Halloween and Christmas specials airing in July and August, respectively.
  • Similarly Named Works: The Carrot Club shares its name with a former CBeebies block, which had toddlers running around and playing with toys.
  • The Merch: The show never received a toy line, apparel, or even DVD releases, but several books were released.
  • The Other Darrin: Happened three times.
    • Niko Ceci replaces Jaiden Cannatelli as the voice of Corn in the middle of production of Season 2 due to the latter hitting puberty.
    • Slater was voiced by Aidan Wojtak-Hissong in season 1, but when he was casted as a regular on I Am Not Okay With This. He was replaced by Callum Shoniker in season 2.
    • Miss Rider was voiced by Athena Karkanis in her debut episode (Buddy Bench), but was replaced by Elana Dunkelman in all following episodes due to Karkanis still working on Manifest.
