• Idiot Ball:
  • Why would Ryan consider a mirror room to be a safe and secure place to store morphine? For the expense of buying the Atlas building and furnishing each room, you'd think he'd just buy a safe.
  • Simon telling Jenks that he took morphine on the night Kate died is a bizarre Refuge in Audacity lie to hide the relatively unimportant fact that they were competing for the spot of Prime Candidate, something even Emma as a one-time attendee of Atlas knows.
• Narm Charm: In high amounts, and one of the reasons many people like the game.
  • Word of God says it was somewhat intentional.
• One-Scene Wonder: Lisa. You can't even ask her the usual questions, but she has such an impact on the player due to her reaction to the mirrors.
• Signature Line: "Ever seen...THIS before?"
• Special Effect Failure:
  • The fire during the Atlas meeting is quite obviously digital.
  • The late night scenes were obviously shot at daylight, but with a blue filter put onto them.
• Stupidity Is the Only Option: The tape on Kate's driving license is a very clear match for the tape on the broken pub window. This should have been a major clue that you can find quite early in the game, but you can't ask about it until Simon points it out quite late in the game. When you do finally get to ask the right person about it, the case is solved very quickly. However, if you were able to resolve the case that quickly, you wouldn't be able to learn about the truth behind Ryan's affair or anything else about Third Eye and Atlas.
