The detective tasked with solving the suspicious drowning of Kate Vine.- Cowboy Cop: A less intense rendition of this trope, but Jenks still breaks into other people's property with no warrant or permission, steals belongings and assaults a person.
- Large Ham: Jenks' expressions and mannerisms are exaggerated to consistently hilarious degrees.
Simon Thompson

An Atlas student and the boyfriend of Emma Bowman. Simon was apparently the last person to see Kate alive.- What Happened to the Mouse?: Runs away suddenly at the twelfth hour, after Jenks suggests he may have caused Kate's death and then never reappears.

A friend of Kate's from college.Ryan Rand
Played by: John Guilor
The pompous leader of the Atlas business course.- Casual Kink: Ryan and Rebecca are heavily implied to have a kinky relationship in a scene where she slaps him and he seems very into it.Ryan: Oh it's going to be that kind of evening, is it?Rebecca: If you play your cards right.Ryan: Only if you deal.
- Kavorka Man: Ryan looks remarkably average for a middle aged man but has both: a pretty wife who is willing to kill someone to maintain their relationship and a pretty young mistress.

Paul Rand
Played by: Paul Darrow
Ryan's father and the patriarch of the Rand family. Paul primarily focuses on the finances of Atlas and does not seem to engage much with the methods.- Cold Ham: Does not raise his voice often, but his stoney gravitas carries entire scenes.
- Dirty Old Man: Paul has pursued Emma romantically, and seemed to harbour a similar interest in Kate. Rebecca, his daughter-in-law, claims he has a fetish for women dressed as nurses.
Rebecca Rand
Played by: Melanie Gray
The landlady of the village pub: "The George and Dragon" and wife of Ryan Rand.- Casual Kink: Her pub scene with Ryan.
- Woman Scorned: With deadly repercussions. Rebecca killed Kate believing her to be the woman Ryan had an affair with.
James Wilson
Played by: Stephen Mosley
A village hermit and conspiracy theorist, with a penchant for mysticism and growing psychoactive plants.- Conspiracy Theorist: James believes that Third Eye (and Atlas by extension) was a cult intended to brain wash people into being slaves, then sell these people to the rich and powerful. He also believes he stopped them. Which Ryan suggests is partly true.
- I See Dead People: James implies he can talk to the dead using his scrying mirrors.
- The Stoner: Heavily implied. Rebbeca says he grows cannabis, he has a hookah and grows hallucinogenic plants.
Kate Vine
Played by: Yvonne West
A dead post graduate student found drowned in Edenton's lake, the game revolves about solving her murder.- The Ace: Despite her alcoholism, Kate was known to be smart. Enough to qualify for Atlas' Prime Candidate position.
- The Alcoholic: Almost everyone you speak to mentions Kate's drinking problem.
- Plot-Triggering Death: Her suspicious death is the reason Jenks travels to the village to investigate.
- Posthumous Character: Is dead before the game begins.
Lisa Blint
Played by: Ellen Chivers
An ex-Atlas student who was traumatised by the methods used on the course.- Conspiracy Theorist: To a lesser extent than James, but she does believe Atlas revolves around devil worship.
