- Difficulty Spike: One level has you navigate a place filled with cacti by jumping on flowers that open and shut. One mis-step or mis-jump lands you in Cacti that causes massive damage. If you don't have access to a flying character, this is beyond Nintendo Hard.
- One consolation is that flowers do not close if you're standing on them. The jumps are still very hard anyway.
- Demonic Spiders: Turtles divebomb you from out of nowhere and do massive damage if they hit you.
- That One Boss: Really, any boss in the game, but the Joker is especially difficult if you don't have the right character build or the right weapon.
- The Un-Twist: The Baku, a Japanese spirit who devours dreams and nightmares, is usually depicted as a tapir. Think Drowzee. Now, what other character in this game fits that bill?
