  • The band started off with one of the most recognizable songs of the decade, "Snakes On A Plane".

  • "You're a hot mess and I'm fallin' for you, and I'm like, hot damn!"
• Crazy Is Cool: The band was allegedly formed after Gabe saw a time-traveling intergalactic cobra in the desert while on peyote, and received a message that the apocalypse was coming and his job was to help humanity go out in style. From there, it only gets crazier.
• Epic Riff: The guitar riff for the Church Of Hot Addiction, goddamn.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Gabe's former band, Midtown, whose last album in particular was incredibly emo. Compare to Cobra's material...
• Memetic Molester: Gabe, who just can't seem to keep his hands to himself. Not that anyone complains.
• Signature Song: "Good Girls Go Bad" or "You Make Me Feel", their two One Hit Wonders.
• Two-Hit Wonder: "Good Girls Go Bad" and "You Make Me Feel" where both top 10 hits (each peaking at 7 on the American charts) in a number of countries but their other singles haven't charted anywhere close (their only other charting song in America is Hot Mess which peaked at 64 though it has since been certified gold).
