YMMV / Class 78th Watches the Future

• Broken Base: Five of Makoto's female classmates having a crush on him. Some people find it cute and believe it makes perfect sense given Makoto's personality, others find it cliché and pandering to shippers.
• Catharsis Factor: Certain characters being called out/feeling guilty for their less than savory actions in the game. This includes the class's guilt for accusing Makoto in the first trial, their anger and disgust at Hifumi and Celeste for their actions in Chapter 3, Kyoko being called out for her petty behavior towards Makoto in Chapter 4, Yasuhiro being constantly called out for his stupidity and selfishness throughout the game, etc.
• Jerkass Woobie: While he's still an arrogant asshole, more than a few commenters have voiced sympathy for Byakuya due to the class turning on him for the actions of his future self. By the time the story takes place, he's not nearly as horrible as his canon counterpart and the class had considered him to be one of them, only for that all to come crashing down and almost the entire class turns on him. While he never expresses it in words, something which, to be fair, only worsens his standing in the class, his thoughts show he feels genuinely guilty and hurt.
