• Anticlimax Boss: For all the build-up throughout the story, Ou isn't very hard at all. Somewhat justified in the last stretch, since all the other playable characters come to help the player, making it very easy for him to be overwhelmed.
• Awesome Moments: The moment the family decides to Screw Destiny, particularly for John, who shatters the sacrificial altar in defiance of Ou to protect his newly born daughter, Hope.
• Heartwarming Moments: Multiple events can be found at the Bergson family home in-between dungeon attempts. More than a few of these show how much the family loves each other. Special mention to one where John and Mary dance together.
