YMMV / Censor

  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Did Enid kill her sister? There's a throwaway line towards the end that mentions the amnesiac killer didn't remember what he did, the Frederick North movie seems to have been inspired by her story and heavily implied that she did it. And there’s a few lines of dialogue by one character, Perkins, that compares censoring to creating your own narrative to keep your brain in check... and by the end we see Enid do that time and time again. Murder and self-delusion aren't beyond her.
  • Narm Charm: Doug's impalement is a laughably cheap camera-trick effect, and would probably qualify as Special Effect Failure, if not for the fact that the shot is very obviously a deliberate homage to the classic B-Movies that are the subject of the film.
