• Replacement Scrappy: Allen Funt's son, Peter, who took over as the main host from 1996-2004 and again in 2014. Whereas his dad was naturally charismatic and seemed to really get a kick out of catching people in the most silly situations and seeing how they would react, Peter always seemed to be very bland, stiff, wooden, and monotone on-camera. Plus, unlike his dad, Peter Funt simply isn't a recognizable enough figure to pull a big reveal on the subjects and wow them that they’ve been talking with him the whole time.
