- Cry for the Devil: Michael Fitzgerald is as a filthy-rich Smug Snake who has made all of his money from exploiting others (being heavily involved in the 2008 crash) and antagonises the community at every turn. Shortly before the denouement he confesses to Father James how he is an Empty Shell of a man as a result and is contemplating suicide. Leads to Fridge Horror when Father James is killed as there'll likely be no-one else who can stop him from doing so.
