• Shipping: Back in those days, relationships in Hanna-Barbera cartoons were limited to subtext or a gag. This series specifically while not a major one to HB fans has some decent shipping thoughts specifically to one pairing.
  • There is decent Les Yay for Merilee and Steffy. Such examples of support are not limited to them sharing a bed, Steffy walking up and putting her hand on Merilee's back after Butch busts an intruder, a security cling, and a Death Glare from Steffy to Wally over a joke that Merilee's bikini was too revealing.
  • Merilee also showed some jealousy over whenever Butch interacted with another girl. But Butch never really gave her the time of day.
