• Captain Obvious Reveal: The artists keep the mastermind hidden in the shadows until he's revealed to be Two-Face at the end of Part 1, but between the half-pristine, half-rundown nature of his lair and not bothering to hide Richard Moll's voice, it's pretty obvious it's him from the get-go.
• Fridge Brilliance: Two-Face is having his "double agent" in the police Gil Mason use his tips to help the police bring down Rupert Thorne, the same man responsible for turning Harvey into Two-Face in the first place.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: This is the second (and last) time that Two-Face would be the villain of a two-part episode.
