• Ensemble Dark Horse: Dad has a large following within the fandom. He eventually had an episode focusing on him attempting to do Ace and Chet's job, turning the show into "Computer Entertainment Related Programming".
• Growing the Beard: While the first season was rough around the edges, the show really took off in quality after the release of their 5-part Gyromite episode.
• Vindicated by History: At the very least, how the crew feels about it. Fraser notes that they got mixed receptions, from people either hating it, others flip-flopping on it, and others "getting it" immediately. As time has gone on and fans have seen them out of character in Video Games Awesome!, the gang feels that people understand what they were going for and know "we're just dudes".
