• Moral Event Horizon: Very big spoiler. Read with caution. Naruto toes the line a few times but fully embodies this trope when he traps the young prodigy of Konoha in a prison of all the mutilated and experimented on husks that were once her fellow villagers... After a free for all killing spree of said mutated villagers... Yeah. No coming back from that one.
• Nightmare Fuel: Given the premise of this story, there's a few scenes that can qualify.
  • The fate of the Villagers of Konoha. After getting captured by Naruto's army of Hollows, they are rounded up and herded to what amounts to a giant science lab. There they are experimented on in ways that would make Joseph Mengele puke. What really made it horrid was the excruciating detail that the author wrote it in before changing that section.
  • Konohaji's fate is worse however. Rather than get experimented on, she is forced to watch as all the villagers and the people she loved get transformed into deformed abominations, all while being physically and mentally brutalized by Naruto. In the end she is trapped with the remnants of her villagers in a pit and due to what happened earlier, she is unable to die of old age. Little wonder when Ichigo found her, she was nothing more than an Empty Shell.
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: Considering how the main character is a full-blown monster and the good guys of the situation are stuck in a situation that is only getting worse by the minute, it's hard to care for anyone in this story.
