  • Friendly Fandoms: Commonly compared with the Denser and Wackier item asylum, to the point that both games had a collaboration on April Fools' Day.
  • Game-Breaker: Throughout the many updates, some items will inevitably work better than others, especially if they are eventually removed.
    • Items such as Battle Heal or Medic! which can heal you without having limited uses.
    • Rare Arsenal items that deal massive amounts of damage in exchange for a long cooldown, such as Hellfire, Enuma Elish, or Master Spark.
    • Items that would leave a player stunned or ragdolled for a long time, such as Haoshoku Haki or Order's Guidance.
    • The Snake Launcher was a weapon that summoned snakes that attack indiscriminately before despawning 25 seconds later. However, there was no other way to get rid of the snakes, which eventually led to the arsenal item being removed altogether.
    • The Spy Apparatus let people play almost exactly like the Spy from Team Fortress 2, save for the Back Stab dealing 70 damage instead of a One-Hit Kill. Nevertheless, it was too unpredictable and had to be removed.
  • Low-Tier Letdown:
    • Pogo Stick lets you jump higher than normal. On paper, all this does is make it harder to for you to get hit. However, it's largely considered a waste of space due to having such a small impact on how quickly you can deal damage.
    • Toy Hammer normally does just 1 damage point and only has a 1/100 chance to deal 100 damage, which is a One-Hit Kill assuming the target had no health or defense buffs. However, most players will mostly likely die before they ever pull this off.
    • Dischord has you swing down a guitar to do a measly 12 damage with a 12 second cooldown. While it can ragdoll an enemy, its animation beforehand is slow enough for anyone to dodge.
  • Most Wonderful Sound: The sounds your kill counter makes as it increases.
  • That One Attack:
    • Gae Bolg's Spear Barrage can be held down to continue thrusting the weapon in exchange for a longer cooldown. Anyone caught it in would be stunned and unable to escape at all unless a third player interrupts the attacker.
  • That One Level:
    • Cybergrind is a map that constantly shifts as the round progresses, which can cause some players to get stuck in the floor and walls as they rise and fall.
