• Cult Classic: Considered by some Neo Geo fans and videogame magazines for those ones who want more challenge in a fighting game and/or want something different from The King of Fighters and Fatal Fury series.
• Nintendo Hard: The game is very difficult in one player, maybe a way to compensate for the tiny roster.
• Spiritual Successor: To SNK's earlier fighting game Street Smart, which allows the player to move in eight directions, plus a dedicated jump button.
