- Nausea Fuel: Mona's Tears of Blood. Even Froderick is grossed out by them, and he's a vampire bat and would normally like blood. Just not when it comes from tear ducts, it would seem.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- Mona finds a skeleton at the bottom of a well. The corpse pit in the dungeon could also count as one.
- If all comedy is removed, Mona's situation could be the plot of a horror movie: she is an innocent 19 year old girl who was killed and turned into an undead by a creepy, deranged vampire and imprisoned in a tower for years, with no one but Froderick and her captor as companions. It's a wonder she doesn't have even more issues than she does.
