While she has described it as a headcanon as in it's not canon to Voltron: Legendary Defender, Lauren Montgomery has shared
some info on the pictures seen in Captain Olia's ship.
- Lance was confirmed to be the youngest amongst his three siblings, Marco, Luis, and Veronica, and he's also an uncle to his niece and nephew. He's also said to be a mestizo Cuban.

- The showrunners have confirmed at ECCC 2018 that Keith will return to Team Voltron in season 6 after being Out of Focus in season 4 and 5.
- And apparently, Keith's expulsion from the Garrison has something to do with Commander Iverson's left eye being perpetually closed. However flashbacks in the Season 7 premiere reveal this to have been a case of Trolling Creator.
