A couple of days after the mod fully released, Pico Digital Studios was given permission to share information related to Evan, Holly and the Childhood Memories universe in general. The post can be found here

- Evan is a Shrinking Violet and had tried his best to fit in at school. He got bullied a lot, but made friends with Holly when she stood up for him.
- Evan is on the autistic spectrum, which is part of his difficulties in communicating with others.
- His parents are very supportive of him and wish the best for him.
- Holly's parents' whereabouts are currently unknown, hence why she's often seen hanging around at Evan's house.
- Evan is a shy young boy, whilst Holly is outgoing and energetic.
- Evan's favourite kids' show is Blue's Clues, while Holly's favourite is Dora the Explorer.
- The kids often spend weekends watching children's shows together.
- Holly isn't a demon like base-game Girlfriend; instead, she is a regular human.
- Evan has met Boy and Girl before.
- Evan is able to speak perfect English in Fanon, while he simply has the "beep-boop" talk in the mod's canon.
- Evan is quite shy about meeting other Boyfriends, though Holly wouldn't mind interacting with other Girlfriends.
- That said, Evan and Softie get on pretty well, since they have some common ground together.
- An alternate version of Boyfriend made by Pico Digital Studios (Benjamin from the Sonic: Into, Across and Beyond! continuity) also looks after Evan each Sunday.
- Pico does exist in the Childhood Memories universe, but he and Evan never met.
- In addition, the school shooting never happened at Pico's school.
- Evan would be pretty interested in having friends like the Doki Doki Literature Club! cast, specifically their Doki Doki Takeover! versions.
- In terms of the two's bonds around FNF mod characters:
- Carol and Hex would be all up for playing sports with the duo (golf in the former's case, and basketball in the latter's case).
- The two would understandably stay away from Whitty, due to the risk of them getting injured or killed due to the guy being a walking bomb.
- Evan would be quite curious as to how Sunday performs their music.
- Kapi would likely show Evan and Holly how to bust some sick dance moves.
- Evan's favourite hobby is drawing, while Holly really likes to sing.
- Evan is prone to tripping over by accident at times, though is quickly picked up again by Holly.
- In the Childhood Memories universe, the Corruption had never existed, and outside variants of it would have no effect on the world or the children's show IPs.
