Holly O'Hair, a scrapped character from the scrapped Partible and MacFarlane's version of Season 2.

  • Before Van Partible was fired by Cartoon Network and the direction of the show was handed over to Kirk Tingblad, he and Seth MacFarlane drew up plans for a second season that were going to be inputted if the direction of the show were to be continued under Partible.
    • There were going to be new recurring characters added to the cast such as Holly O'Hair, as shown in the page image, who was meant to be a Femme Fatale character who would be Johnny's next door neighbor and would use Johnny for her self-serving plans, and Jim Dandy who was to going to be a rework of the show's portrayal of Donny Osmond who would keep all of his characterization and be a character who would try to gain Johnny's friendship but would backfire due to Johnny's hatred for him.
    • The titular character from the episode "The Sensitive Male!" was also going to become a recurring character, as he was going to be named as "The Mayor" due to being elected as the mayor of Aron City. And just like how he got women to date him, he lied to get elected as mayor. Interestingly the show has a mayor character but he seems to be a parody of Bill Clinton due to his “cavorting” according to the Christmas episode.
    • Before Jack Sheldon was considered, Bob Dorough was going to voice "The Sensitive Male" but called in sick at the last minute.
    • According to Van Partible, had the show gone on to its second season, he would've pitched an idea to Hanna-Barbera about a backup segment for the show focusing on Adam West, influenced from both his experience working with West on the show and West pitching ideas to both the Johnny Bravo and Hanna Barbera crew at the time.
    • Coincidentally enough, Butch Hartman and Seth MacFarlane pitched a potential TV show to Cartoon Network focusing on a cartoon Adam West fighting crime with a secretary named Robin (homage to both Robin and his work on the original '66 Batman series but it was ultimately rejected by the network.
  • As mentioned in the main article, there were plans for a Live-Action Adaptation that would have starred Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The movie would have been about Johnny trying to find his missing father.
  • "Berry the Butler" was originally written for Barry Manilow, but he never responded to the crew's requests. It was later retooled around John Tesh, but scheduling conflicts led to him pulling out at the last minute and the fake very Manilow-like "Berry Vanderbolten" being created instead.
  • In 2005, the Atlanta Braves considered making Johnny their mascot, but due to copyright mix-ups, he was relegated to the kids' play area outside the stadium, called the Tooner Field.
  • The episode "Johnny Goes to Hollywood" was initially supposed to have only Hanna-Barbera characters in the special to the point where Janet Waldo would even reprise her role as Judy Jetson and actually recorded lines for the special. Ultimately, Partible realized that the special needed real celebrities to make it sing.
    • Jon Bon Jovi was Partible's ideal candidate for the special instead of Don Knotts until Bon Jovi turned the offer down.
  • Jack Nicholson was Partible's initial selection for the voice of Chronos in "Bearly Enough Time".
  • A line from the episode "Cookie Crisis" was unexpectedly cut: “This cookie’s made from potatoes and beans. They’re spicy hot. From New Orleans!”.
  • Don Messick was supposed to reprise his role as Scooby-Doo for the crossover, but his fatal stroke meant that Hadley Kay was cast as the character instead.
    • Phyllis Diller was also supposed to be one of the disguises shown in the unmasking scene, but the idea fell through when the studio couldn't get the clearance from Diller's reps to use her likeness.
  • Partible videotaped the recording session for the episode "Beach Blanket Bravo" specifically when Rick Springfield and Maureen McCormick performed their duet song and initially wanted to include it as an extra for the series' DVD releases, but rights issues prevented it from happening. Partible eventually uploaded the clips to his Facebook account and Butch Hartman uploaded them to his YouTube channel.
  • The ending of the episode "Red Faced in the White House" originally had Johnny banished to the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, but was changed since the executives thought it was too over the top.
  • Paula Abdul was cast as Vivian Vixen but backed out at the last minute. A small Shout-Out was still made when Jungle Boy called her a "cold-hearted snake".
