Monk Little Dog is a French South Korean animated series by Kim Sung-jae of Kim's licensing and produced by SAMG.
Monk is a little white anthropomorphic dog for whom nothing EVER seems to go right. In every episode, whenever he tries something out, the world around him is just determined to make sure he has an utterly miserable time in his attempt. It tends to cause his anger to build and build until it ultimately reaches its breaking point, and Monk goes berserk. And even then, Monk can't ever win.
The series premiered on June 16th, 2009, and ran on Canal+ until June 11th, 2010.
Monk Little Dog contains examples of:
- Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Monk and his dog friends (sans Kimmy) all wear collars.
- Black Bead Eyes: While they weren't small enough to count as beads, Kimmy's eyes are all black.
- Butt-Monkey: Monk himself. Whenever he tries something, expect it to never work out the way he wants.
- Pink Is Feminine: Kimmy has pink hair on her head and her chest.
