Iconix Entertainment is a Seoul-based South Korean production company known for producing shows such as Pororo the Little Penguin, Tayo the Little Bus etc.
The company was founded by Choi Jong Il (the CEO of the company) on September 25, 2001, as a successor of the Animation Business Team of Geumgang Planning, which itself is a subsidiary of Hyundai Group.
Iconix also licensed Japanese anime series such as Ojamajo Doremi, Fighting Foodons, Twin Princess of Wonder Planet and many others.
Not only do they produce animated series but they also make toys based on their shows as well.
Iconix also owns Studio Gale, a South Korean animation studio specializing in 2D and 3D animation.
