Misfits' Guild (plural possessive) is a modern sci-fi superhero webcomic by Thomas Wisdom that began at the end of 2017, primarily following a boy named Joulian Jolt who struggles with moving to the town of Lackland, Oregon and going to a new school with his friend Isabel Wakahisa. Also, he has lightning powers and a mysterious group of superpowered scientists is apparently trying to kidnap him.It can be read here; it updates Sundays, more or less.

  • April Fools' Day: The April 1st, 2018 update was in the style of Homestuck.
  • Art Evolution: The art style changes drastically even between the first two pages.
  • Body Horror: According to the Alt Text, the character Epitome has skin that looks like she's covered in bandages. She can also sharpen her fingers with an effect that looks like trailing blood.
  • Eyes Do Not Belong There: Epitome can apparently move her singular eye anywhere on her body. Including into her mouth. And it looks like putting it back hurts.
  • Non-Human Head: Doctor Deacon's head is a huge computer monitor. Given that there's a visible connection between it and her neck, it probably isn't that symbolic. (It also has cat ears, for some reason.)
  • Psychic Powers: Luna LaFrontier has so far demonstrated intangibility and telekinesis.
  • Punny Name: Given that it's a superhero comic, multiple.
    • Joulian Jolt (Joule and Jolt, both referring to electricity). Given that he's evidently trans, this may well be intentional in-universe.
    • Doctor Elizabeth Deacon (Elsie Deacon -> Elsie Dee -> LCD)
    • Officer Anton (as in Anton Chekhov; when she first appears, her gun doesn't get fired)
    • Luna LaFrontier (like "final frontier")
  • Running Gag: Luna's shirt is different in every panel where it's visible.
  • Schizo Tech: Doctor Deacon has tiny fly-like camera drones, but her head is a monitor that only displays shades of green, and Officer Anton uses a revolver.
  • Unobtanium: Doctor Galahasee mentions something called "Anomalite", which evidently gave Luna and Joulian their powers.
