A furry webcomic by Jonathan Sario, it can be found here. Was originally about six children training to be adventurers, but after #431 it was revised so that they were fairly ordinary (for anthro's in a somewhat futuristic world). Then it jumped forward two years, then a sub-comic about Fox's older brother and his group of friends was added.

Tropes

  • A Dog Named "Dog": A fox named Fox Kitsunei.
  • Expy: Most of the second group (the seventh graders) are "streamlined" versions of the original cast: Ixiah=Fox, Ace=Maegan, Q=Blue, Lambert=Rex, Mahr combines aspects of Maxi and Shiva.
  • Fantasy Character Classes: Before the reversion the characters had the following classes: Fox=ninja, Maegan=magic-user though dependent on her Bikit for powers, Hero=Light warrior, Maxi=spirit warrior (spellblade), Blue=scout (with ranger-like skills), Rex=gadgeteer, Ixiah=psychic.
  • G-Rated Drug: Menthol soda, a specialty of the local pizza spot, has been described as "like gin for kids", it gives you brain freeze that feels like a hangover and makes you act pretty stupid.
  • Interspecies Romance: Pre-revision it was explicitly stated that being attracted to another species was their society's equivalent of homosexuality. It's unclear if that's changed but different species are still genetically incompatible. Aunt Kat and Uncle Doug are the only really official interspecies couple but it is very easy to pair up the kids.
  • Portal Network: Interstellar travel apparently makes use of Interdimensional Portals (ID gates) that take six hours to travel through, though Rex built a personal ID portal in the original series that he used to travel instantaneously.
  • Shout-Out: Several, but one particularly notable one post-revision is when Ix buys a used video game cheap that is rumored to curse the player when the hardest course is beaten with a secret puppet version of the main character.
  • Teleportation: Public teleporters exist but require exact change, also a common invention of Rex's.
  • Time Skip: skipped forward two years in December 2003, less than two years after the reversion.
