Blade Girl! is an Urban Fantasy Webcomic made by Xygeus Morrowind. It contains violent content and occasional strong language.
In the world of magic and mana, the story focuses on the life of Renalyn Midori (Ren for short), a teenage girl gifted with the ability to negate magic. She works with the Church of Demonic and Magical Enforcement (CDME for short) along with her partner Ashton Yales, an experienced, but washed-up mage with a drinking problem. As they're maintaining peace in their city, something sinister is slowly creeping to the surface...

Tropes found in Blade Girl:
- Action Girl: Ren can jump high, run on walls, and, of course, slice things up with her sword. Her older sister, Gwen, was also a talented Grassblades before an incident left her crippled.
- The Alcoholic: Ren's partner, Ash, was (and still is) a powerful mage, but he hits the bottle frequently even during work hours.
- Anti-Magic: Grassblades are people who are born with this power. They are immune to any type of magic nor are they able to perform magic. Ren Midori is among them.
- Church Militant: The CDME employ mages to maintain peace by subduing criminals, demons, and other bad stuff.
- Curse: While disguised as an actress she murdered, a dark elf placed a curse on Ash in the form of a hickey. She later disguised herself a waiter so she could activate the curse, only for Gwen to absorb it.
- Cutting Through Energy: Grassblades like Ren can slice through magic like it's nothing.
- Emerald Power: Ren and her older sister, Gwen, have Anti-Magic bodies that cancels magic and are associated with the color green, from their hair to their surname.
- Playing with Fire: Among the Fire Magic users ever known, Ashton Yales is a powerful fire conversion mage, capable of shooting fire magic without a conduit, such as a wand.
- Shock and Awe: Lillith Jones comes from a long line of lightning conversion mages. She uses a special bracelet as her conduit to conjure hands out of electricity to stun targets.
