• Adaptation Name Change: Steven to Stets, Ruby to Booby, the Cluster to the Clusterfuck, and possibly Sapphire to Fire. Downplayed as there are still some instances of the original names, like Steven's line in the Theme Tune Roll Call.
• Alien Animals: In "Stets goes moon hunting", Amethyst finds what she thinks is a deer inside the Moon Base.
• Ambiguously Gay: Defied in "Stets at the Gallery", wherein there's an entire sequence where Peridot makes sure Lapis is a lesbian.

Amethyst complains, "I don't get this cartoon, man" while watching Pearl cry on Stets' television. • Black Comedy: In "Grerg joins the marching band", Greg casually states that Marty's dead.
