Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Abridged is The Abridged Series for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean by The Schmuck Squad, the group behind The Seven Deadly Schmucks.

Tropes in Stone Ocean Abridged include:

  • Adaptational Jerkass: In the opening clipshow in the first episode, Reimi calls Rohan and Koichi fucking losers and pressures them to hurry up on stopping Kira.
  • Bootstrapped Leitmotif: In the ending of the first episode, Gwess is heard humming Jolene, which she sung in the original anime when carrying a tiny Jolyne to their cell.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Why did Romeo get Jolyne thrown in jail? In the original, he shifted the blame entirely onto Jolyne so he wouldn't get jailed. While he does worry about getting a criminal history here, he admits to her lawyer that he mainly did it because she laughed at his Funko Pop collection.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Romeo reasons that, since he had five beers before getting into the car, Jolyne's drink would cancel out the negative effects of the beers and make him more focused.
  • Insistent Terminology: Jolyne refers to masturbation as "hot girl stuff." In turn, Ermes refers to the money she hides in her extensions as "Boob money," much to Jolyne's chagrin.
  • Kangaroo Court: While Jolyne's lawyer did still set the case up so she would be imprisoned, the judge is also a Cloud Cuckoolander who declares Jolyne guilty because he doesn't like her name, before announcing her double guilty just because her defense wouldn't try to help. note  The actual crime comes last, and he adds two years to her sentence for raising her voice and a death threat (the latter of which admittedly wouldn't fly in a court of law, but the former barely being worth mention).
  • Named by the Adaptation: The guard that looks like Tom Cruise actually is Tom Cruise in this version.
  • Pointy Ears: Jolyne's lawyer makes a lot of reference to his pointy ears. He appears to get an... arousing sensation out of them twitching.
  • Previously on…: The first episode opens up with a series of clips showing important scenes from earlier parts for... some context.
  • Younger Than They Look: Bertha is 25, but Jolyne spitefully calls her "grandma."
