"Digidestined to die, who wrote this shit?"
—The narrator realizing what his job entails

Abridgimon Frontier, as it's name entails, is The Abridged Series of Digimon Frontier, created by Parodyox Productions in 2014.

Abridgimon Frontier contains examples of:

  • A-Cup Angst: Zoe.
  • Battle Discretion Shot: The Narrator cuts away from Kazemon's fight with Woodmon and instead shows a picture of a ferret stuck in a paper towel tube with piano music playing. Kazemon's screams of pain can still be heard in the background.
  • Big Bad: Cherubimon.
  • Butt-Monkey: J.P..
  • The Chooser of the One: Ophanimon, although she immediately regrets it.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Neemon.
  • Comedic Hero: The Digidestined.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Episode 1 was much slower paced, had minimal sound effects, there was no mid-fight banter in the fight between Agunimon and Cerberumon, Koji was a more exaggerated version of how he acts in the original show, Tommy was a suicidally depressed crybaby with severe paranoia, Ophanimon didn't have her voice filter, there were more pop culture references, and the editing was much more sloppy.
  • Funny Foreigner: Angler Trailmon speaks with a vaguely Scandinavian accent and throws in random German, Swedish, and Norwegian words.
  • Gag Dub: It is an abridged series, after all.
  • Gratuitous Foreign Language: Zoe likes to shout random Italian words when excited, whether they're appropriate or not.
  • Hillbilly Horrors: The Pagumon.
  • Incredibly Lame Pun: Takuya's barrage of candle puns is what causes the Candlemon to attack.
  • Insistent Terminology: The Legendary Warrior of Earth is Grottomon, not Grumblemon.
  • N-Word Privileges: Only Kokuwamon are allowed to say "shock", yet the elder is allowed to call humans "sapes".
  • No Fourth Wall: The Evil Legendary Warriors have spoken with and/or assaulted the narrator multiple times when he shows his disdain for the show, Takuya refers to the other Digidestined as the supporting cast, Zoe claims that she's busty in the Japanese version of the show, and the narrator frequently snarks about the show's quality.
  • Only Sane Man: Tommy, despite hearing voices, having revenge fantasies, and having an unhealthy obsession with Takuya, is the most level-headed and logical member of the Digidestined.
  • Subliminal Seduction: A backwards message plays when Takuya Spirit Evolves for the first time: "Koichi is Duskmon"
  • Tsundere: Koji to Zoe.
