I Drive for Cerber, (also known as Cerber: A Mundane Chronicle) is an ongoing series written by mofucious for Reddit's "nosleep" subforum.

Jim Atwell, a construction worker who has been in and out of contracts for the past seventeen years, comes across an app called Cerber. Failing to meet the requirements to become an Uber driver, Jim fills out an application and submits it. Almost immediately, he receives a call back from an annoyingly perky woman named Adeline. After making a profile on the app, Jim quickly gets his first ride request. It doesn't take long before he realizes that Cerber's clientele are...rather unusual.

Part 1 can be found here.

Tropes associated with this work include:

  • The Alcoholic: Jim used to be one, drinking to cope with his sister's murder. He's since gotten sober and traded the alcoholism in for an addiction to Mexican food.
  • Fantasy Kitchen Sink: Jim's clients include Slenderman, Orcs, Demons, Devils, Angels, Aliens, Ghosts, Yokai, deities from various mythologies and more.
  • Non-Malicious Monster: Most of Jim's passengers are like this. Some of them are more dangerous than others, but most of them are decent enough as long as you don't do anything to upset them. This includes his boss Adeline, who is Medusa.
