These contestants will battle for their freedom ...cause they were kidnapped.note

Ultimate Insanity is an Object Show created by Daniel Rapitis which premiered on 20 August 2018. The show ran for three episodes (four if you count the two-parter episode 3 as separate episodes) before it was cut short.

The show, as with countless other object shows, has the typical Game Show plot when two objects, Battery and Peanut Butter, decide to host a competition in which 24 kidnapped contestants face each other for the chance to win— wait a minute...kidnapped? Looks like the plot thickens as not only the contestants have to compete against their will but have to escape the clutches of their co-hosts. However, it won't be easy due to the island they're currently stranded on is heavily rigged with booby traps. How would the contestants resolve their hostage situation?

Tune into the episodes here to find out.

The show contains the following tropes:

  • A Dog Named "Dog": Uh huh...
  • Animate Inanimate Object:...Same ol' story.
  • Anthropomorphic Food: This show does have its examples.note
  • Anti-Climax: How the series concluded since Daniel decided to end it prematurely. In the end, all the contestants manage to escape the island on a boat, Battery and Peanut Butter are arrested by the police and to tie up loose ends, Chef Hat and Webcam came dropping by (literally since their rockets were flying overhead the ship) after being eliminated.
  • Anyone Can Die: and easily revived by the recovery center which happens a lot in these types of shows.
  • Armless Biped: Seriously, what's up with object shows and their armless contestants?note
  • Audience Participation: Viewers can on who should be eliminated from the losing team each episode.
  • Booby Trap: And the island the show is set on is full of these.
  • Darker and Edgier: A somewhat darker variant of the object competition format, since the contestants were kidnapped to compete against their will.
  • Death Is Cheap: Thanks to the all-convenient, all-powerful recovery center.
  • Eject the Loser: The eliminated contestants go out in style and by that I mean being strapped to a rocket and blasted into the stratosphere, never to be seen again.
  • Ensemble Cast: Battery and Peanut Butter really went overboard when kidnapping the contestants for their show, rounding the cast off at 26, including themselves. The story equally focuses on the hosts forcing the contestants to compete while they work in secret to escape the island and get away from the two's clutches.
  • Multi-Part Episode: The last episode "Our Ship Awaits" is a two-parter.
  • Short-Runner: Ran for two regular episodes and a two-parter before the show got canceled. However, it's one of the very few object shows to have a conclusive ending as opposed to being Left Hanging for its short runtime.
  • Stylistic Suck: It's not intentional but due to Ultimate Insanity getting canned too early, the second part of episode 3 is done haphazardly with its short runtime, lack of lipsyncing and incomplete animation. But it did tie up loose ends by letting the contestants escape in addition to Battery and Peanut Butter getting arrested.
