A series of one-minute funny shorts made by Hasbro in stop-motion with Transformers Kre-O sets and minifig... Kreons. They were eventually replaced by a similar series, Think Like A Kreon, which covers more franchises than just Transformers.

Transformers Kre-O provides examples of:

  • Built with LEGO: In this case, some of the characters themselves are built with building bricks, as they are based on the Kre-O construction sets while others use the smaller Kreon figurines.
  • Christmas Episode: "A Gift for Megatron"
  • Gag Series: The shorts are mostly quick gags. Only the final two-parter had more of a good-versus-evil plot, and still was quite humorous, with the Decepticons stealing Energon to make a grated cheese sandwich.
  • Go-Karting with Bowser: The Autobots and Decepticons engage in dance competitions and car races.
  • Merchandise-Driven: And this time developed with the toys themselves in stop-motion.
  • Suddenly Voiced: Some of the earlier shorts produced by Stoopid Buddy Studios have the Kreons actually speak, though later ones return to them communicating through grunts and body expressions.
  • Training Montage: Starscream has Megatron pass for one, but it's useless as he gets an accidental One-Hit KO from a passing Bumblebee.
  • Running Gag: Megatron crumbling into pieces by either shot by Optimus Prime's puny blaster, rolled over by a round rock, or gets crashed into by Bumblebee.
  • The Voiceless: Most of the shorts, with the exceptions of "Megatron's Revenge", "Take Us to the Movies", "Hibachi Chef" and "Kre-O Cars", the shorts are mostly silent beyond character grunts.
  • Your Size May Vary: Depending on the episode, the characters may be represented by the larger sets or the smaller Kreons.
