Splatoon Fantasy Requiem is a GMOD series created by Makerboy 10 based on Splatoon.
Alex and Rico have moved into their new house in the vicinity of Inkopolis, with Meggy Spletzer as their neighbor... unaware that a mysterious masked Inkling is looking to steal Rico’s power for himself.
The series is still in development and when it will be finished is uncertain.

Enter the heat of tropes. Go for it:
- Author Avatar: Alex’s Inksona is a major character.
- Bounty Hunter: The Big Bad hires one to go after Alex and Rico. His name is Dante.
- The Bully: Inkura gets bullied by an Inkling in Episode 2, appropriately titled "The Bully".
- Christmas Episode: The plot of Episode 3 is Alex, Rico, and Meggy going to stop two Inklings from stealing a huge Christmas tree at the park.
- Emotional Powers: The Inkling heroes’ powers are said to be the power of emotions.
- Even Evil Has Standards: When Dante, a Bounty Hunter, learns that his boss wants Rico’s power so the world can burn, he calls the Big Bad pure evil.
- Filler: Episode 3 has no connection to the main story.
- Formula-Breaking Episode:
- Usually, victory music plays after a fight is finished. In Episode 5, however, when Whisk loses, we hear failure music.
- Episode 6 doesn't have a victory or a defeat in its Once an Episode battle, but the battle is ceased instead.
- Good-Times Montage: Episode 4 has one in the form of Emily showing Alex and Rico around Inkopolis.
- An Ice Person: Alice freezes people who try her patience.
- I Want You to Meet an Old Friend of Mine: Inksonas of Alex’s friends are characters in the series, most notably CuteYoshiLover (Emily Mason) and RicoGamerBoi. It should be noted that this series started long before Rico’s original human model(s).
- Mythology Gag: People who just met Desti not knowing who she is—and her getting upset about it—is a gag that carries over from the SMG4 video "If Mario was in... Splatoon 2".
- Named by the Adaptation: The members of the Octoposse Desti leads are here named Octilla, Octara, and Octria.
- Nightmare Sequence: Alex has one in Episode 2 of people dying in a destroyed city, said to be "the future".
- Omnicidal Maniac: Why does the Big Bad want Rico’s powers? Why, to make the world burn, of course!
- Original Character: Not all Inkling/Octolong characters are from Splatoon or any fanworks; some were made up, like Miranda, Abraham's girlfriend.
- Once an Episode: A fight scene breaks out in every episode, complete with said fight beginning with "Enter the heat of battle. Go for it!"
- Replaced the Theme Tune: Starting with Episode 6, the intro is different.
- Saving Christmas: The premise of Episode 3, down to the title.
- Shout-Out:
- Inkling characters include Meggy Spletzer, Desti, Alex Spider, and Inkura. Three Octolings from BerryMitchel’s ''Dawn of a Hero'' are also characters here; Abraham, Michelle, and Namelessnote .
- The shifts to RPG-style combat that occur during the series could be a reference to STBlackST and his Unusual Troubles series.
- Stop Motion: The animation is one still image of the characters and environments after another.
- Sudden Video-Game Moment: The fights are treated like RPG battles in video games, right down to the heroes occasionally leveling up when they’re finished.
- Theme Music Power-Up:
- What music is used for the second half of the fight with Whisk? None other than "Whisk Sneaks In".
- When Rico's Fury is unleashed in the battle with Desti, the theme from Bowser's Fury kicks in.
- Warmup Boss: Heavy Weapons Guy is the first opponent faced in the first episode.
- You Don't Look Like You: The three non-Desti members of the Octoposse have different models than their SMG4 counterparts, as you can tell from their different headgears and hair colors.
- You Have Failed Me: Angered by Dante’s failure to capture Alex and Rico, the Big Bad fires him. And by "fires", we mean "kills" (at least, presumably).
- Battle won!
