Prey is an 8-part web series by Sensation Studios, based on the Starved Eggman creepypasta.
After being bested by Sonic, Eggman find a cooked flicky, which he consumes and develops an obsession with devouring them, becoming known as Starved. In his pursuit to cook Sonic, he creates a robot named Furnace.
It eventually got 2 sequels titled Sonic 3 Fate and "Sonic 2 Aftermath" (the latter has yet to come out).

Tropes:
- Adaptational Alternate Ending: Starved is successful in killing and eating Sonic in the original story's ending. Here, Sonic instead fights and beats Furnace and undoes the events that would lead to Eggman becoming Starved, in turn undoing the deaths of Ray, Tails, Amy, and Espio.
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Furnace was built by Starved to cook his victims for Starved to dine on. However, Furnace ends up killing Starved with intent to just suffocate everyone on Little Planet.
- Canon Welding: Sonic's Time Stone-induced super mode uses the orchestral arrangement of "His World" from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), implying the Stones hold a connection to the time god Solaris.
- Cosmic Retcon: Once Sonic uses his power to keep Eggman from becoming Starved, nobody has any memory of the incident, not even Sonic himself.
- Dies Differently in Adaptation: In the original story, Amy is established to be cooked and eaten by Starved. Here, she ends up being thrown by an incinerator bot so hard that she is killed upon impact with the ground.
- Death by Adaptation:
- There is only one Furnace in the original creepypasta and he survives to the end. Here, there are two. The first is destroyed by Tails crashing his plane on him. The second one is eventually defeated and Retgone by Sonic.
- Tails is one of the survivors at the end of the original creepypasta. In this series, he is vaporized by Furnace and killed.
- In the original creepypasta, Starved is successful in killing and eating Sonic. Here, he is killed by Furnace.
- Disc-One Final Boss: Like in the original creepypasta, Starved is built up to be the Big Bad of the story. However, come episode 7, he is killed by Furnace who usurps the role from him.
- Go Out with a Smile: When Furnace knocks Espio off the chains to his death, Espio makes it clear he has no regrets in helping Mighty, striking a pose as he falls.
- One-Winged Angel: After absorbing all but one of the Time Stones, Furnace becomes a much bigger robot.
- Set Right What Once Went Wrong: After beating Furnace, Sonic rewinds time to before Eggman became Starved and frees the Flickies, ensuring that Eggman doesn't become that monster again.
- Sinister Suffocation: Furnace's ultimate plan in episode 8 is to lift Little Planet into space and deprive all its inhabitants of air.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Sonic is killed by Furnace and eaten by Starved in the original creepypasta. He survives all the way to the end and even undoes all of the deaths that happened in the series.
- The Starscream: Furnace starts out as the top robot of Starved throughout the series. However, after seeing visions where he would be destroyed, he kills Starved and takes over as the Big Bad.
- Suddenly Speaking: Most episodes have the characters silent. Episode 7, on the other hand, has Sonic, Furnace, and Starved talking.
