with the first episode releasing on January 6th, 2019.It evolved from another Object Show he planned in around 2015 called "The Object Games" (which was the standard competition-based object show), and is one of the many object shows on the web. Rather than the normal, repetitive Game Show plot, this show is more Slice of Life-based.
The show tells the tales of two siblings, the narcissistic Spade and the pessimistic Bucket, in their daily lives and how things go From Bad to Worse for them. In each episode, they're usually joined in their misadventure by Spade's best friend Map and the absent-minded Mad Scientist Professor Rubber.
However, this series only lasted one episode before RickToons stated that a second episode was unlikely to happen, which basically meant that the show may or may not have been cut short. Even then, though, Rick would promise that there will still be shorts.
This show contains the following tropes:
- A Dog Named "Dog": Again this is very prevalent as with almost all object shows so no need for examples this time around.
- Animated Music Video: One for "My Name is Spade", featuring Map as a Dumbass DJ.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Thanks to Professor Rubber's Ray gun, Spade grew in tremendous size and went on a rampage in the city to terrorize and destroy everything in sight. And this is just the first episode!
- Instrumental Theme Tune: The song used in the intro is "Evil" (by Arensky), which is already instrumental.
