Ayuda Mundial (roughly translated as World-Wide Help) is a Argentinian Work Com Machinima animated in the setting of the Halo franchise. The series was created by the Youtuber Gustavo Alejandro Ancarani best know as " El Ultimo Player" (The Last Player) The series started back in October 2008 and it still releases episodes to this day. Althought don't expect episodes to be released every week given the series has a rather notable Sequel Gap between each new content. Despite this the series is extremely popular among Latin Americans audience and is probably the most popular spanish Machinima out there.

The series centers around the eponymous "Ayuda Mundial" organization which is a Hotline destined to help anyone that calls to it no matter the issue or the place they are. His protagonist Oscar however is a Lazy Bum that would do his best to avert doing his job and is completely apathetic to anyone in problems. Hilarity Ensues !

The series can be found complete on this playlist.

Provides Examples of:

  • Aborted Arc:
    • The second episode has the Boss warning Oscar that he should not repeat what happened to his previous assistant with Sebastian in a surprisingly serious mood. What happened with him is never mentioned again.
    • Vladimir and the Omnimente's revenge against Ayuda Mundial in "Prankster" is not mentioned again in later material and unlike the previous time they had faced them, they are still around by the end of the episode.
  • Accidental Misnaming: A recurring gag is that Oscar can't remember Sebastian's name so he keeps naming him any other name he can think of rather that his own (including women's names). "Prankster" reveals is completely subconscious.
  • Adaptational Early Appearance: Gerardo, a minor character from the Christmas Special replaces the unnamed employee the boss was shooting in the remake of the pilot.
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: "Reveleishions" and "Prankster" has Vladimir and the Omnimente working together.
  • Break the Cutie: Pretty much the whole series is one of these for Sebastian
  • Cut His Heart Out with a Spoon: One short "A Thank You from Ayuda Mundial" gives us this gem:
Oscar: [to a curious fanboy] If you dare finish that sentence, I swear to God that I'll gouge your eyes out with a screwdriver. Then I'll cut your dick off and sharpen it until I can stick it on your neck to give you a tracheoechtomy. Finally, I'll scrape your skin off with a potato peeler and I'll squeeze it so I can send threatening letters to your whole family written with your own BLOOD!!
  • Genius Ditz: Oscar is an utter idiot most of the time. Yet he often demonstrates surprising knowledge in many topics and has occasionally demonstrated to be a combat expert and rather knowledgeable about stuff like weapons or physics. His brother lampshades how diligent Oscar can get whenever he does anything that keeps him away from his job.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: It turns out Vladimir created the Omnimente, making him the cause of all the events of episode 4.
  • Informed Attractiveness: Rebecca is mentioned by Oscar to be beautiful and have the body of a godess. Given this is a Machinima we never see the characters without their uniform so audiences can't confirm.
  • Joker Immunity: Both Vladimir and the Omnimente are defeated time after time only to be back in their following appearence.
  • Lack of Empathy: Oscar has seen their clients being burned up alive, eaten alive, getting brutally murdered among another things and is always incredibly apathetic towards anything they are passing through.
  • Lazy Bum: Oscar is most of the time too lazy to properly answer the phone calls or do anything about it even if their life is at risk.
  • Must Have Caffeine: All the employees of Ayuda Mundial are forced to work much further of what should be allowed so they are all addicted to coffee. One episode has everyone almost going on panic after discovering that they had runned out of coffee before Oscar lies saying there's still coffee out of worry things would escalate if they knew the truth
  • Nominal Hero: "Coffee" is a rare instance of Oscar trying to help a client but not because he suddenly decided to do the right thing rather that the office runned out of coffee and was conviced by Sebastian the client could have some.
  • No Sympathy: Oscar never gives any of the clients the most minimial help no matter how terrible their situation is.
  • One-Steve Limit: Played for Laughs. After Sebastian has being suffering from Accidental Misnaming for the whole series "Reveleishions" reveals that the boss's name is Sebastian too which Oscar can remember perfectly. He's not amused.
  • Only Sane Man: Sebastian is the one that constantly reacts to Oscar's tendencies and seems to be the only one that constantly lampshades how insane the other characters are.
  • The Operators Must Be Crazy: Oscar. He's so lazy and apathetic towards the persons that call that he will commonly lead them to burn down in flames or being eated alive while he trolls them or outright ignores them.
  • The Remake: The first episode was remaked in 2023.
  • Series Fauxnale: "Reveleishions" was meant to be the ending of the series with Vladimir and the Omnimente being defeated for good and with a Last Episode Theme Reprise but 2 more episodes and several shorts were released afterwards.
  • Ship Tease: One of the short films give us a bit between Oscar and Rebecca.
  • Unseen No More: Rebecca who was teased multiple times as the one person that can make Oscar life more miserable that the Boss, is finally seen in "Prankster"
