- At the very least, it would appear that Korra and Kuvira will be working together against a common foe (likely extremist proponents of the former Earth Empire), based on the released summary of the second issue.
- Confirmed, for the first part anyway. The rest, not so much.
Asami's been noticeably absent from the preview pages where Kuvira was on trial, has been known to (justifiably) hold a grudge against those who wronged her (ex. Keum and Hiroshi) so while she's expected sorrow over the latter's death, she's yet to express anger, especially when they're personally dealing with her father's killer, especially one that feels justified in their actions. Considering how the summary stated all of Team Avatar's got different ideas on what to do, this could also lead to a tension where Asami can't be as much a support/calming influence on Korra as usual and that Korra might have to be peacekeeper this time a la Aang in "The Great Divide".
- Both confirmed and jossed in the first instance Asami and Kuvira come face to face with each other. Asami indeed likely can't be as calming to Korra as before considering Kuvira did kill Hiroshi, but she handles her anger pretty well and makes it clear that even with that anger, she'll be there to protect Korra from Kuvira, not the other way around.
Zaheer's prison appears on the cover of the first issue, so it is likely that he will appear in the series as well. Given that former President Raiko alluded to other unknown Red Lotus members remaining at large throughout the world, it is possible that the seemingly Aborted Arc of the ongoing threat posed by the Red Lotus organization will also tie into the series (such as the Red Lotus attempting to exploit the political fallout from Kuvira's surrender and the Earth Empire's collapse, or trying to bust Zaheer out of prison).
- Kuvira's in a similar prison, or the same prison on another level.
