WMG / The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot

Go To

WARNING! THERE MAY BE UNMARKED SPOILERS!

The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot takes place in the same universe as Staged.
They both feature more-or-less fictionalized versions of the Davison-Tennant family and their friends and colleagues. They also have a similar humorous tone and style. It just makes sense.

Not only did Colin Baker lock his family in...
...but the doors were deadlock sealed in case anyone went for his old sonic screwdriver.

McGann's "filming commitments"
The reason McGann was too busy to show up for the protest or to go to Cardiff? He was filming "The Night of the Doctor"!
  • That's more canon than WMG.
    • McGann has stated in an interview that he actually hadn't told the other Doctors about "The Night of the Doctor" in advance. As Davison wrote the script, it can't really be canon that that's why he had filming commitments in this. Although he might have told them that if they said in this video that he couldn't go with them to Cardiff because of "filming commitments", it'd be funny later.

The reason why the TARDIS prop wasn't a working TARDIS...
... is that after Peter Davison flew the working one to Los Angeles in 2011, he neglected to bring it back, and a dummy had to be substituted for it.

The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot takes place in the same universe as Toast of London.
Davison has a couple of cameos in the latter as himself, behaving in a similar way to how he did in the former. Doctor Who certainly exists in Toast of London, as Steven Toast had a role in it in the 1970s.
  • Basically I'm using this single image to justify my entire theory.
