...he wouldn't haved disappeared, he would've found himself permanently assigned to a similar office assisting other "pilgrims" for eternity, decorated like his original earthly office at the time of the 2007 subprime meltdown (just like Isaac's at the time of the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire). The office may be a sort of purgatory for "pilgrims" like himself before going through the right door and living life over again, but it's an Ironic Hell for Corrupt Corporate Executives like himself after going through the left door.
