- Seemingly disproven by the third episode, in which one of the residents comments that when the snow melts really depends on whenever it is that they happen to get a good rain and it could be any day now.
- Ultimately, confirmed in a way. The device does seem to have ended up in area where the snow doesn't melt, but Harry still manages to find it anyway, thanks to Max's ability to detect the "green glow."
- Plausible - as of "The Green Glow," Max actively helps Harry with finding his device by using his ability to detect the titular "green glow." They're not actively friends yet, but it does seem to be moving in that direction.
- As it turns out, she ends up standing no chance against a real alien, Harry. However, there is at least one real alien within McCallister's organization.
- Her biological mother is actually a chain-smoking layabout named Mary-Ellen Taylor who never wanted children and who was happy to abandon her at the first chance that she had.
- Confirmed - the Greys are the Big Bad of the second season and are planning to utterly desolate the Earth and havec already done so once in an alternate timeline.
Given the circumstances of Sam's death, it would seem the killer would have some medical knowledge. The real Harry makes a 'courtesy call' to Sam, tampers with his insulin, and goes his merry way, only to be killed by the alien who replaces him.
- Confirmed - that's exactly what happened.
- But why?
- RealHarry and Abigail might have set up a "Strangers On A Train" scenario—Abigail was having an affair, but maybe she and Sam had a prenup that would have meant she'd lose everything in a divorce. Harry and Isabelle are going through a divorce, and either don't have a prenup (so Harry could lose a lot of money), or Harry's thinking Isabelle's art will be worth a lot more if she dies. Since RealHarry had been in Patience before, it's not a stretch to think he and Abigail could have met, and planned it out somehow. In any case, the creators have said we're going to be finding out more in the second season.
- "An Alien in New York" reveals that Harry and Sam were both apparently investigating shady business with a company called Galvan/Powell Group, but that somebody from Galvan/Powell directed Harry to kill Sam after Sam threatened to go to the police.
- But why?
Asta didn't pursue the question of what happened to the real Dr. Vanderspeigle when she and Harry were trapped in the crevasse, but once things calm down, she's going to put her mind back to it, and make the connection with the foot found in the lake.
- Confirmed - Asta does put it together and realizes the truth.
This will be what ultimately convinces “our” Harry not to go through with the plan to wipe out the human race.
- Disproven, at least in terms of what convinces Harry not to go through with the genocide.
- He was using Sam for therapy and either Harry made a terrible substitute or Harry found a way to rebuff the Mayor entirely
She hugged Harry in his alien form while telling him they were still friends, despite everything—but according to D'Arcy, hugging is Asta's 'tell'.
- Possibly true, but at the same time, it might not matter that much or be as drastic of a black-or-white thing. She probably had a lot of emotions at the time and realized there were more humongous things than whether he killed a guy.
With Dr. Stone taken by the government forces, the town is in need of a doctor again. Harry is presumably coming back anyway and since even if Stone does come back he may not be up to much, Harry will end up getting drafted to be the doctor again. He may not even mind since he needs the job anyway and his other attempts at searching for careers didn't go so well.
- Eventually confirmed - Harry does accept Ben's request to become the doctor again after Smallwood is dismissed because he wants to do the autopsy on the guy that Asta killed who tried to kill him.
If Harry actually sounded like that, people would get suspicious 10 times faster than otherwise. It's certainly not an accent that can be traced to New York or anywhere else on the planet and considering how odd he is, this would be a humongous liability. This troper assumes that the speaking voice is something that's been added for dramatic effect or we are hearing what Harry's voice sounds like to himself.
The Greys indicate that Harry's people have basically ceded the Earth to them, but Harry is trying to put a stop to all of that. One or more of Harry's people will come to Earth to aid the Greys in trying to take out Harry.
The whole goal of Harry killing all humans in the first place was to try to preserve everything else on the planet from humanity's destructive tendencies. Why would Harry's people now be cool with the Greys working to turn it into the desolate wasteland seen in the alternate timeline in "The Alien Within"?
