Barbara is actually Betilla in disguise.
To start out, they both have reddish hair and dress in green. Perhaps Betilla and the other nymphs disguised themselves as the princesses to test Rayman. They wanted to see if he was still a competent fighter after being asleep for 100 years.
The worlds here are the same as in Rayman Origins, just 100 years in the future.
- Jibberish Jungle and Teensies in Trouble should be fairly obvious.
- Desert of Dijiridoos gradually underwent forestification, turning into a swamp.
- Gourmand Land went through the opposite effect, with changes in climate turning it into a desert.
- Sea of Serendipity and 20,000 Lums Under the Sea should also be obvious.
- The only one that's hard to explain is Mystical Pique to Olympus Maximus, because the latter already seems ancient.
