There will be two new visual novels that will feature around winter and spring respectively
Given how this is the second installment taking place in autumn after the first installment's setting, summer, it's easy to be certain that GB Patch will release a third game centering around winter and the fourth game to take place in spring, both of which will introduce their own different characters, setting, and story.- Jossed by Word of God. The developer has stated that this will be the last game and that further games by GB Patch will be unrelated. It's possible that the Our Life concept will be revisited someday but it would be many, many years down the line.
Baxter will be a potential love interest in Now and Forever
- Jossed. Baxter is confirmed to only play a minor role in the game, and while it is possible to have a small crush on him, nothing will come out of it. In addition, he departs Golden Grove by the end of Step 2, and is confirmed to not keep in contact with anyone. Baxter eventually got his own DLC route in the previous game, so it all worked out in the end.
Like it's predecessor, other potential love interests will be added into the game, like Renee
- Jossed. According to Word of God, there will be no love interests other than Qiu and Tamarack. This is due to, among other reasons, time constraints.
