General/crossover theories

Putt-Putt's Time Portal incident is responsible for all the game paths throughout the Junior Adventures.
When his homework, lunchbox, calculator, and Pep were scattered across time, they were seemingly only spread one to each time period. But, perhaps, they were each sent to all four of these periods, albeit in different (newly created) timelines. Putt-Putt was only presented with entries to one timeline for each time period (think Avengers: Endgame), perhaps curated by the singing clocks.

The resulting Butterfly Effect led to changes to, not only where Putt-Putt could find what he needed to enter the race in his next adventure, but to adventures experienced by other Humongous heroes – even those that had already happened — such as Spongehead hiding bottles in different locations, different equipment being available in the school house to trap the ghost, where the trees of the Land of Darkness hid Sam's stuff, where on Moptop Island the peace delegates were, where Napoleon LaRoche hid the "off" switch, and whether Pia Zadonut served pizza or donuts.
