- Although Rochelle seemed certain about loving him, she noticeably did not glow while thinking of Dante. It was established in "The Light" that Lovebugs glow when they think of the people they love. This might imply that Rochelle is fooling herself into thinking it's love.
- During Walter and Simon's song, Rochelle seems to try harder to convince herself that she loves Dante, as it would mean "she's not doing anything wrong". It would not be the first time that she has tried to evade responsibility for her actions.
