WMG / How To Fix Kingdom Hearts

Go To

In the Dream Drop Distance arc, Sora, Kairi and Riku will all become Keyblade Masters.
Because 1) they all deserve it and 2) Terra, Aqua and Ventus are all Keyblade Masters in this adaptation.
  • Jossed; like in canon, Riku is the only one who becomes a Keyblade Master. However, Yen Sid acknowledges that Sora and Kairi are strong enough to protect the worlds and prove their worth in the upcoming conflict (the one from KH3), so the two are Keyblade Masters in all but name.

Demyx and Luxord’s complete selves Will not only appear with New names and outfits but will also be working with the reformed organisation club
Reasons: 1) their reasons for joining the real organisation 13 where not clear to be honest. 2) Larxene showed open distaste for Demyx the official Kingdom hearts III so if i doubt Elrena would let him work with her and Lauriam if crypto keeps that trait. 3) is the fact that They where both kidnappad and experimented upon by Xemnas them working someone that resembles him would make even less sence (hint hint). And 4) Demyx had a redemtion arc in The official Kingdom heart III so there’s that.
  • There's a couple of problems with that: 1) the games didn't officially reveal the names of Demyx and Luxord's completed selves, and Cryptonyx can't introduce them without the benefit of hindsight, and 2) Demyx doesn't like Larxene, so I doubt he'd agree working with Elrena, since it's implied she and Lauriam will work with the heroes. (Pretty sure the theory was made by someone who ships Demyx and Larxene. So I'm giving them a reality check: Demyx canonically dislikes Larxene (the feeling is mutual), and Union X implies that Elrena has a tsundere crush on Lauriam.)
    • i meant to type Larxene
  • Confirmed for Demyx helping the heroes and working with the "Reformed Organization Club" (which is made of Lea, Dilan, Even, Aeleus and Ienzo). Luxord, on the other hand, is an Ambiguous Situation, since he was nowhere to be seen when the "Reformed Organization Club" was formed. Lauriam and Elrena were nowhere to be found either, but we do know they'll help the heroes.

In the Kingdom Hearts III arc, Strelitzia will appear, or at very least Lauriam will mention her.
Because let's face it, a lot of Lauriam's fans want Strelitzia to be Spared By Adaptation. And if Lauriam hails in the present here (remember, time travel is Adapted Out), then it makes sense for Strelitzia to hail from the present as well.

Hermod, Bragi, Urd and Vor will be the Big Bad of the Kingdom Hearts III arc.
Cryptonyx stated that they would have a greater work in arcs of games released after Birth By Sleep. It's also stated that the Destiny Islands Trio will fight against the "tyranny of light" in that arc. So it only makes sense to have Hermod, Bragi, Urd and Vor represent this "tyranny of light".

Expanding on the above, the arc would follow an Evil Versus Evil plot, with the tyrants of light fighting Xehanort, while the Destiny Islands Trio would try to stop them both.
It does fit the Balance Between Light And Darkness aesop of the series.

Alternatively, Xehanort would have a Heel–Face Turn.
In the Dream Drop Distance arc, Sora (via Young Xehanort) realizes how alone Xehanort feels, and ends up sympathizing with him. Given how Sora is an All-Loving Hero and Riku is planning to take control of the Heartless now that he's a Keyblade Master, it's likely he'll have Xehanort realize he's no longer alone.

Vanitas would be a party member in the Kingdom Hearts III arc.
After all, Xehanort pulled an Eviler than Thou on him, so he most likely wants to kill him to get even.
  • Confirmed by Word of God; all that's left is to see how it will happen.

Lariam and Elrena are trying to fix the imbalance between light and darkness
In Crypto’s video where he reacts to his own tv tropes page he Said that the Ladder two where captured willingly. The whole reason Why They where trying to overthrow Xemnas to begin with was because They remembered his plans where Evil and his plans where to destroy all darkness.

  • They could also be revealed to be working with Vanitas as he has that exact same goal and if he reformed somewhere between birth by sleep and Kingdom heart 1 it wouldn’t be suprising for him to oppose Xemnas for his goal as well as being a part of Xehanort.
    • It's confirmed that Vanitas will reform at some point between Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 1: Cryptonix stated Vanitas will appear in his rewrite of A Fragmentary Passage, which takes place between Birth By Sleep and Ansem's defeat in the first game. But I doubt Vanitas knows about Xemnas.
    • it could be that Vanitas met Lauriam and Elrena and some point and taught them the truth about light and darkness leading to their infiltration.
      • Here's to hope that Strelitzia was Spared By Adaptation, because it's heavily implied that Vanitas killed her in the games. If she wasn't spared, then the theory is Jossed. But considering that Sora and Vanitas will team up in the Kingdom Hearts III arc, Lauriam and Elrena will still team up with Vanitas.

Aqua will start working with Vanitas in A Fragmentary Passage.
Another take of the above WMG that Lauriam and Elrena are working with Vanitas, in case it's Jossed. Since it's confirmed Vanitas will appear in A Fragmentary Passage, and that the game's focus will be Aqua learning the darkness's point of view, then it would make sense for Aqua to want to help Vanitas after her reality check.

Lauriam and Elrena hail from the Land of Departure, and are friends with the Wayfinder Trio, much like Ephemer.
Since Marluxia and Larxene tried to overthrow Xemnas because they remembered Xemnas is evil, it would make sense for them to have a connection to the Wayfinder Trio. They were friends with Ventus in canon, as seen in Union X, so maybe they're friends with him here as well.

The town that acts as an Adaptation Expansion for the Land of Departure is Daybreak Town.
After all, Cryptonyx uses images of Daybreak Town when talking about the Land of Departure's town. Coincidence? I think NOT!
  • Furthermore, Scala ad Caelum is part of Kingdom Hearts (the heart-shaped moon, not the game series) here, and, as such, is only accessible via the Key of Hearts.

Let's face it, we all want this.

Time travel wasn't actually Adapted Out.
Despite how much of a big deal Cryptonix makes out of removing time travel, Sora could still time travel to Timeless River. Likely, time travel is still possible, it's just that Xehanort can't do it.
  • Confirmed? Cryptonix stated he genuinely forgot about Timeless River when he made the "No Time Travel" decision.

Kairi did return Riku's feelings for her at some point, and Namine is proof of that.
Before the events of Kingdom Hearts 1, that is. And Kairi had a hard time choosing between Sora and Riku. But after Kairi's heart is returned in the climax of KH1, she suddenly has no struggles choosing Sora. And the next arc, the one at Castle Oblivion, we're introduced to Namine, who Riku originally saw as a Replacement Goldfish towards Kairi because Namine reminded Riku of Kairi. While Riku eventually sees Namine as less of a Replacement Goldfish as Castle Oblivion and Days Between go on, we learn that Namine is a piece of Kairi. This leads to one conclusion: Namine is the part of Kairi that returned Riku's feelings.
  • So in a way, both Sora and Riku ended up with Kairi in the end.
  • In canon, Namine stated that she's Kairi's shadow. And Crypto doesn't deny that his Namine isn't Kairi's shadow. And Riku uses the darkness. All hinting that Namine is, in fact, an Anthropomorphic Personification of Kairi's repressed feelings for Riku.

Xion isn't a fragment of Sora's heart, but of Kairi's.
I mean, Roxas and Xion are in love in this continuity, and in the manga and novel continuities, their relationship is compared with Sora and Kairi's, and the two are obviously crushing for each other. When Xion was introduced to the Organization, she, a fragment of Kairi's heart, reacted to Roxas, a fragment of Sora's hear. And as the two went on missions together, the reaction between the fragments sparked love between the two.
  • But if Xion is a piece of Kairi's, why did she return to Sora?
    • Maybe because the fragment remembered that Sora's heart is a safe place.
  • Alternatively, Xion holds fragments of both Sora and Kairi.
  • According to Cryptonix, friendships causes hearts to trade pieces of each other. So it's likely that, if Xion is a fragment of Sora's heart, as Gnosis claims, then that fragment originally belonged to Kairi.

This series' Xehanort is Cryptonix's Author Avatar.
While this theory is based on the "Player=Xehanort" meme, it does have some evidence, mostly found in Xehanort's past.
  • When Sora first meets Young Xehanort in Dream Drop Distance, Young Xehanort is part of the Cult of Light. This reflects Cryptonix's early days in the Kingdom Hearts fanbase.
  • Young Xehanort's journey through the Realm of Darkness is an allegory to theorists going through the lore of a game series.
  • Young Xehanort's rage towards the Cult of Light for refusing to believe Dark Is Not Evil could be an allegory to how a lot of fans (Cryptonix included) were disappointed by Kingdom Hearts 3, or the Broken Aesop of the game series (some cutscenes claim that Dark Is Not Evil, but the games constantly show that light is Always Lawful Good and darkness is Always Chaotic Evil).
  • Xehanort's plan could be compared to a Fix Fic, like the "How to fix Kingdom Hearts" series itself.
  • Even Ansem and Xemnas's lack of care to those they hurt can be compared to fans that lash out at others for petty reasons, such as ships and Base-Breaking Characters. Cryptonix even lampshades this, stating his series will get a lot of hate for the Rikunami, the Rokushi and for Namine getting a Keyblade.
  • Finally, Cryptonix has an x in his name, much like Xehanort.
  • Jossed. The "Player=Xehanort" meme was discredited.

The Heartless stole Cryptonix 02's heart.
Well, it's Metaphorically True. When you like something or someone a lot, they say that thing or that someone stole your heart. And in this video he calls the Heartless cute, and said he'd hug them, a risky thing to do in canon. So, in a way, the Heartless did steal Crypto's heart.

Some of the Heartless will become Mons once Riku takes command over them.
And they'll act similar to the Dream Eaters.
Candidates include Shadows, Soldiers and Large Bodies. Add here whatever other candidates you want.

The cult of light takes on one last apprentice between the years after the Birth by Sleep arc and shortly before the events of Kingdom Hearts III kick off.
Afterall, they would probably want someone to pick up the pieces and continue the Light's agenda as a last resort in the case they are all defeated in the Kingdom Hearts III arc.
  • I'll tell you guys this: that someone is not the Foretellers. They're tied to time travel, and all plot-relevant time travel was Adapted Out. (The Timeless River plot is not plot-relevant; it's mostly filler.)
